WEST LIBERTY WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN LOGAN COUNTY CRASH

The State Patrol reports that a West Liberty Woman was seriously injured in a Logan County crash on January 20th.  Sharon Schlabach, 58, of West Liberty was travelling southeast on County Rd. 10 when her vehicle was hit head on by a vehicle traveling northwest and that crossed the center line.  Chloe Gallagher, 20, of Bellfontaine was cited for driving left of center.

Schlabach was transported by EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of serious injury.  Gallagher was transported to Grant Hospital for treatment of serious injury.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 1,862,225 motor vehicle crashes in Ohio in 2023.  The Patrol also reports that 6,150 people suffered serious injury due to crashes on Ohio roadways in 2023.  The Patrol defines serious injury as an injury that requires medical attention and or hospitalization.
