AURORA COUNTY WOMEN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN GEAUGA COUNTY CRASH

Bainbridge Township Police report that an Aurora woman was seriously injured on January 11th in a motor vehicle crash in Geauga County.

Serena Gromack, 23, of Aurora was heading north on Chillicothe Rd. when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle heading west on Crackel Rd.  Wenyong Zhang, 53, of Solon  was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.  Both women were seriously injured in the crash and transported to local hospitals.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 1,862,225 motor vehicle crashes in Ohio in 2023.  The Patrol also reports that 6,150 people suffered serious injury due to crashes on Ohio roadways in 2022.  The Patrol defines serious injury as an injury that requires medical attention and or hospitalization.
