Shelley Disler, 62, of New London Ohio was seriously in a motor vehicle crash on January 14th, in Lorain County according to the State Patrol.
Ms. Disler was operating her vehicle in a northbound direction on SR 58 when her vehicle was struck head on by a southbound vehicle, operated by Theresa Miller, 77, of Amherst. According to the Patrol, both women sustained serious injury and were transported to University Hospital in Elyria for treatment.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 1,862,225 motor vehicle crashes in Ohio in 2023. The Patrol also reports that 6,150 people suffered serious injury due to crashes on Ohio roadways in 2022. The Patrol defines serious injury as an injury that requires medical attention and or hospitalization.
