Saloma Yoder, 37, of Freeport Ohio was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash on January 18th in Harrison County, according to the Ohio State Patrol.
Ms. Yoder was a passenger in a vehicle heading north on SR 342 when the driver of the vehicle drove off the roadway, striking a utility pole. According to the Patrol, she sustained serious injury and was transported to Southeastern Medical Center.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 1,862,225 motor vehicle crashes in Ohio in 2023. The Patrol also reports that 6,150 people suffered serious injury due to crashes on Ohio roadways in 2022. The Patrol defines serious injury as an injury that requires medical attention and or hospitalization.
