The Ohio State Patrol reports that two Fremont residents were seriously injured in a Seneca County crash on January 28.. Paul & Donna Miller of Fremont were travelling southbound on SR 19 when their vehicle was stuck by a vehicle being driven west on CR 73. The driver of the westbound on CR 73 was William Keller, 36, of Woodville. Keller was cited by the Patrol for running a stop sign.
The Millers and Keller were transported by Life-Flight to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo for treatment of serious injuries.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 1,862,225 motor vehicle crashes in Ohio in 2023. The Patrol also reports that 6,150 people suffered serious injury due to crashes on Ohio roadways in 2023. The Patrol defines serious injury as an injury that requires medical attention and or hospitalization.
